Who We Are

Wayne Hudson

Wayne was born in Kosciusko, Mississippi. He accepted Jesus as his savior at the age of 16. He graduated from Mississippi State with a degree in education.

Wayne accepted a coaching job in Lexington, Mississippi; and this is where he learned about a walk with the Lord through the teaching and preaching of the Word. A few years later, Wayne was called to preach and over the next twenty years pastored two churches in a bi-vocational roles. The Lord used the death of their son, Jordan, to greatly change his life. Wayne learned about the sufficiency of God's grace in difficulty and how faithful and trustworthy God is. As a result, when the Lord called Wayne and Tina to move to Ely, Nevada, where he would pastor First Baptist Church, he knew that out of obedience to his faithful God they must go. During the first year there, the Lord began to develop the Complete in Christ ministry. Also during this year, He gave Wayne an even greater passion for His Word and a burning desire to share it. Therefore, the couple moved back to a home-base in Mississippi.

Tina Hudson

Tina was born in Kosciusko, Mississippi, where she grew up. She accepted Jesus at the age of twelve in a country church in Attala County.

She and Wayne were married after they finished Holmes Community College. Their son, Jeffrey, was born during her senior year at Mississippi State. She graduated with a degree in education and taught for 17 years. She faithfully attended church all her life but did not learn about walking in a close, intimate relationship with Jesus until she was in her mid twenties. Daughters Jenni and Jodi were born five and six years after Jeffrey. Tina had a strong desire to know the Lord better during her 30's and spent many hours in His Word and Bible study. However, it was not until Jordan, their fourth child, was born and died in 1998 that the Lord truly revealed to her who He was and how much He loved her. Her life has never been the same since. She has a passion to tell hurting people about the faithfulness of God and about how He really does have a future full of hope prepared for each one of His children, even when we don't understand why He allows some hard things to come into our lives.
